Leadership, Management, Communication and Quality
In healthcare, these are no longer nice-to-have but need-to-have skills
Effective Nursing Communication is Essential
Whether you are working with future nurses or current healthcare professionals, there is no denying the industry needs strong leaders who can provide exceptional patient care, communicate well, and manage multiple tasks. We provide tools that help participants hone these “big picture” capabilities.
Our virtual simulations and scenarios allow new or experienced learners to practice clinical judgment and decision-making skills related to setting acuities, scheduling, delegating and prioritizing patient care, as well as learning how their care decisions affect structure, outcome, process, and cost throughout the hospital. Of course, knowledge is only part of being an effective nurse. Our virtual clinical solutions also help participants learn how to communicate and share their knowledge within their teams and throughout their organization.
Upcoming Webinar: Interprofessional Teams Virtual Clinical
This realistic virtual clinical is designed specifically for healthcare leaders, practicing nurses, and nursing students who are sharpening their communication, leadership and collaboration skills.
After evaluating and identifying the patient’s needs, the learner will select five interprofessional team members, based on their scope of practice, to further manage and evaluate the patient. Next, the learner will observe the group collaboration process, recognize challenges and barriers within the team, and guide the conversation by making decisions that result in positive impact on the team and, ultimately, patient-centered care.
